This is a permanent visa for people who have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible field.
Cost
The visa costs AUD4,710.00 for the main applicant.
DURATION
This is a permanent visa.
It lets you stay in Australia indefinitely.
You become a permanent resident on the day we grant the visa.
Eligibility Requirements
- You must:
- Either be in or outside Australia but not in immigration clearance when you apply and when the vi9sa is granted
- Have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in one of the following areas:

- A profession
- A sport
- The arts
- Academia and research
- Have a nominator with a national reputation in your area of talent who is:

- An Australian citizen,
- An Australian permanent resident,
- An eligible New Zealand citizen, or
- An Australian organization
- Be a benefit to the Australian community
- Have the ability to establish yourself in Australia
- Be internationally recognized with a record of achievement
- Have a functional English language
- Meet the health requirement
- Meet the character requirement
- Have paid back any debt to the Australian Government
- Sign the Australian values statement
- Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused
What can you do with this visa?
This visa allows you to:

- Work and study in Australia
- Enrol in Australia’s public health care scheme, Medicare
- Sponsor your relatives to come to Australia
- Travel to and from Australia for 5 years
- If eligible, apply for Australian citizenship
